This application allows you to craft music box sounds manually rather than generating them from existing music files. With easy-to-use controls, you can create unique melodies using the app. While it comes preloaded with samples of popular tunes, the real charm lies in customizing your melodies. Input your favorite songs and immerse yourself in a personalized music box experience.

To get started, access the sample data by tapping the menu icon in the top left corner and selecting "Load." Choose a built-in song from the application and begin editing. Each line in the song data represents an eighth note, with a white circle indicating when a note plays. You can toggle between an expanded or compact view by selecting the icon with four arrows in the top right corner.

Starting from version 3.9, you have the option to switch between different edit modes. The normal edit mode allows you to modify notes easily by tapping to switch between dark and white circles, while the move mode lets you adjust note positions by dragging and dropping. In erase mode, you can swiftly delete multiple notes by tapping or dragging over them.

User contribution data functionality was introduced in version 1.10, enabling users to share their compositions with others. To post or access shared data, a Google account login is required. Remember that all user-contributed data is visible to everyone using the app.

In version 1.70 and later, users can now create MP3 files within the app for easy sharing. Once your song is complete, select "Create MP3 file" from the menu to generate a file. The app supports sharing via email and other platforms, making it convenient to distribute your musical creations.

Starting from version 3.6, you can import standard MIDI files (.mid or .midi) into the app. While results may vary based on the input data, solo piano files tend to translate well into music box melodies. Experiment with different files to see how they transform into charming music box tunes.
